Our online Masters programme will help you develop the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills you need to stand out in computing. You have two specialist pathways to choose from: Data Analytics or Artificial Intelligence. Explore programming web languages, data modelling and analytics, secure web development and more.
You’ll be taught by academics from a university which is part of the UK government’s £40m Institute of Coding for growing digital skills. You’ll learn how to use sought-after programming web languages and software, including Python, Javascript, Microsoft Azure, Oracle SQL Plus, Pandas and Python 3.
Our course is 100% online, meaning you can choose when and where you study. You can gain a Masters in around two years, part time, or take longer if needed. Plus, you can also pay your fees in module-by-module instalments.

Data Analytics Pathway
Grow your knowledge to harness the power of data. On this pathway, you’ll hone your specialist data skillset, exploring machine learning methods, database technologies, data visualisation techniques, and statistical knowledge to draw insight from real business data.

What will I study?
No matter which path you choose, you’ll begin your postgraduate studies by building practical computing skills. You’ll then choose your specialism.
Whether you select Data Analytics or Artificial Intelligence, at the end of the course, you’ll have grown your research, project management and problem-solving skills through an independent dissertation project on a topic of your choice.
Assessments
The form of your assessments will vary between modules but all of them will be submitted online. There will be no need to come to campus.
Course Fees
Academic year 2023/24: £9,960* for UK, EU and International students.
You will be able to spread the cost of your fees over the duration of the course, paying in module-by-module instalments.

Who is this course for?
Career Switchers
You hold an undergraduate degree but have no previous experience or qualifications in computer science. You may currently work in a technical role, but you’re looking to launch a career in the industry.
Career Enhancers
You already work in a technical role, but you want to improve your core computing skills and gain more specialist knowledge of artificial intelligence or data analytics to open future career opportunities.
Data Divers
You generate data every day in your current role. You’re looking to understand more about how AI, machine learning and data analytics could supercharge your organisation’s commercial success.
Entry Requirements
There’s no need to have a previous background in Computer Science to be eligible for this course. However, you should have a 2:2 honours undergraduate degree (minimum) or an international equivalent in any discipline.
International applicants may be required to show an English language qualification, such as IELTS.
If you don’t meet these academic requirements, but can demonstrate extensive, relevant professional experience in a related field, you may still be eligible. Enquire to learn more.
